RYA STAGE 4

• Course Duration : 5 days
• Requirements: minimum RYA stage 3 Skill set.

Stage 4

• Rigging
• Launching and recovery
• Sailing techniques
• Man overboard recovery
• Capsize recovery
• Knots
• Sailing theory inc. Tides, synoptic charts, collision regulations

By the end of the course the successful candidate will be able to launch and return to a beach, jetty or mooring, and sail a crewed dinghy on all points of sail in moderate conditions. Successful candidates will receive the relevant RYA certificate.
